Frequently asked questions
What is a YSF reflector?
A YSF reflector is an internet-connected service that links Yaesu System Fusion and compatible C4FM users through hotspots, repeaters, and gateways.
Are YSF reflectors the same as WIRES-X rooms?
No. YSF reflectors and Yaesu WIRES-X rooms are separate network systems. Some gateways bridge them, but YSF Live lists public YSF reflectors rather than the official WIRES-X room directory.
Does YSF Live record audio?
No. YSF Live observes limited YSF signaling metadata and never records, stores, or transcribes voice audio.
What does Traffic now mean?
YSF Live recently received qualifying traffic metadata from that reflector. A short processing or network delay is possible.
Why is a reflector missing or marked offline?
Public host lists, DNS, firewalls, maintenance, and network delays can affect a listing or check. Try again later or report the reflector ID.
Can a reflector owner request removal?
Yes. Reflector operators can request correction or exclusion by emailing [email protected] with the YSF ID.
Is this service finished?
No. YSF Live is a beta. Brief downtime, bugs, and interface changes are possible.
